What kind of events have you DJed before?
I have DJed silent discos at bars, pool parties and house parties! Would love to one day have a headliner show -- I have SO MANY IDEAS for show experience.
Where did you learn how to DJ?
I bought my first basic DJ deck in 2022 and have been slowly learning every since. I mentored under DJ HAUMS for a bit; I also learned from DJ Sugar Spice and DJ SOLOVE. I have watched many Youtube videos, including Alison Wonderland's DJ tutorials. I also have had some dreams in which John Summit taught me, so I guess he is my energetic teacher lol.
What equipment and softwares do you use?
I have a DDJ200, a Hercules deck and iPad / Laptop. For softwares, I know how to use Ableton and Serato for production, I also use Rekordbox, DJAY and Soundeo for other resources.
Who are some of your biggest DJ inspirations?
MY FAVORITE QUESTION!!! SO MANY! Avicii teaches me and talks to me often from the spirit realm, so he's a great teacher of mine. In the physical realm, I love BLOND:ISH, Fred Again, SOFI TUKKER Coco & Breezy, Kygo, Gryffin, ODESZA, Nora En Pure, Skrillex, RUFUS, me n u, LP GIOBBI, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Elderbrook, and Clozee. (I have met 3 of them so far in real life settings, and seen most of them in concert).
What genres of music do you enjoy playing and producing?
I would say Dance/Pop is my favorite but I also love House, Disco, Tech House, Bass House, Drum & Bass, Melodic House, Indie House, Future House, Afro House, Minimal and Electronica for genres. I love mixing genres, so I am considering making music by mixing Christian Pop and House.
